To begin with, lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture. In this essay, I will examine four lifestyles that categorize people to understand their behaviour.
Firstly, people who like going out late and dancing. As well as spending their free time with friends are considered as ‘Party animal’.
Secondly, people who like staying in and eating junk food. Besides, spending lots of time watching television are considered as ‘Couch potato’.
Thirdly, people who spend most of their time working owing to a poor interest in other things are considered as ‘Workaholic’.
Lastly, people who like reading and learning new things such as spending free time at museums or art galleries are considered ‘Culture vulture’.
Lifestyle is the physical, psychological, social, and economical, values, interests, opinions, and behaviors of a certain individual, group or community. A lifestyle is expressed in both the work, behavior, leisure and social patterns we do – it’s a combination of what we repeatedly do.

It should be noted people’s lifestyle depends on their own interest and personalities. It seems to me that spending your free time with friends or gaining knowledge are sheer positive perspectives that in comparison to other lifestyles, for instance workaholic or couch potato constitutes a set of opposing ideals. People have been imprisoned by these stereotypes because many of them influence others to do the same. Meanwhile, other people enjoy life like they are living their last day. What stands out for me the most is that many of them do not realize that the life is as short and fast as you can imagine.
To sum up, as a result of own behaviour and interest we are bound to act in particular paths which symbolize lifestyles. Furthermore, they determine our culture within a society. For example, it is totally and completely different to live in Europe than in South America because of different lifestyles and cultures. However, the good news is that you have the choice to choose how to live your own life.
